There’s so many different tools available that can really help you get noticed on social media. Promoting your blog and having a unique brand is important. Here’s a few tools to help your blog stand out from the crowd!
I recently discovered Canva after browsing other blogs. It’s basically a website full of hundreds of awesome templates including infographics, collages, and social media templates. Some of the content is premium, but there’s also plenty of free content available. And did I mention it’s super easy to navigate and create awesome images for your blog?
Social media is an important tool to ensure your blog is successful. Instagram is great for this. I recommend creating a beautiful flatlay to promote certain blog posts. (Here’s an awesome tutorial on how to create your own flatlay) Instagram is also great for interacting with other bloggers and building friendships and networks.
Similar to Instagram, Pinterest is a really great tool to help promote your blog and recent posts. Simply sign up, create a board theme related to your blog, and regularly pin your blog posts. Pinterest has helped me gain a lot of new traffic, build friendships with other bloggers, and find some great inspiration for blog posts!
Buffer is basically one big social media management tool that will update your social media profiles while you sleep. You can connect to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc to schedule your updates. Buffer offers both free and paid packages, each with different allowances. Free membership offers 10 updates per week. This is a great tool to utilize if you’re super busy and don’t always have time to update your social media.
Sniply is a pretty cool tool that adds a custom call-to-action to every link that you share. You can do this by generating a Sniply link (often referred to as a Snip) which is a special link that contains your call-to-action along with your website. This is a really great subtle way of driving new visitors to your website. Sniply offers both free and paid packages. Their free package includes 1000 clicks.
