I’ve been meaning to write a post comparing all of the different Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow palettes for a while but I haven’t really had the chance until now. As I said before, I’m no beauty guru. I don’t spend my time reading up on the latest makeup trends or watching youtube makeup tutorial videos. I just don’t have that sort of spare time. But I do wear makeup quite often, have been for years, and I know how to properly apply makeup. I can also tell high quality cosmetics from the cheap $5 stuff. So there’s your warning and here goes nothing!
Naked Eyeshadow Palette ($66) ★★★★★
This was actually the last palette I bought! I meant to buy it sooner but just never got around to it. It is by far the BEST of the naked palettes. It’s so versatile and you can rock so many looks with these shades. They’re highly pigmented and stay all day!
Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette ($66) ★★★★☆
I gave this palette 4 out of 5 stars because it’s not really different from the other palettes. It’s essentially a large version of the Naked Basics palette which I also have. Don’t get me wrong.. It’s a great palette full of a variety of super pigmented shades but it’s not a necessity for my makeup collection by any means.
Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette ($66) ★★★★★
I seriously love this palette. It’s my go to for romance and date nights. The shades are soft and subtle but oh so lovely!
Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette ($66) ★★★★☆
The newest in the naked series, this palette is seriously awesome! I use this palette when I’m heading out to concerts and shows. The shades are great for a kick ass punk rock look!
Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette ($66) ★★★☆☆
I gave this palette 3 out of 5 stars because it didn’t really wow me. Being a fair skinned, blue eyed blonde, I’m not big on the smoky eye look. It just doesn’t work for me. However, you might totally love this palette! The colors are great and highly pigmented and would be great for someone who really suits that smoky eye style.
So there you have it.. My half assed and mediocre beauty review. But I hope all of this helps you make a decision whether to buy a certain palette or perhaps even all of them!
